Chromatography employs a wide range of processes to separate more and less difficult molecules. Simple molecules are discovered, future molecules have different functional domains in their construction (Ionic, chiral, hydrophobic, hydrophilic etc.). The better a process is matched to the target molecule the higher the resolution and reproducibility.  Sophisticated Chromatographers create unique constructions that can be IPR protected and cleverly used in the IPR strategy.
