IMTAKT operates from two sites, – Imtakt Corporation co-founded by Itaru Yazawa is located in historic Kyoto, Japan and IMTAKT USA is located in Philadelphia, USA.

Mr. Yazawa developed HPLC columns for YMC and instruments for Schimadzu for more than 20 years before founding Imtakt.  In recent years he was awarded a number of awards for his pioneering work in Multi Mode Chromatography
