PIC-Lab DAC Columns & FlexPacker
To achieve the highest productivity we have designed PIC-Lab DAC columns & FlexPacker.
Our dynamic axial compression (DAC) columns can be used for SFC, HPLC or SMB. DAC technology provides a user-friendly method for packing columns on a preparative scale. It enables chromatography on large ID columns.
PIC Solution columns are packed using the FlexPacker Dynamic Axial Compression System.
The preparative PIC Solution columns can be used for SFC, HPLC or SMB. The columns are available in 50, 76, 100, 200 and 300 mm i.d. with integrated heating jackets.

The SFC and DAC columns comply with CODAP and ASME standards (maximum working pressure of 300 bar) and are made of 316L stainless steel and PTFE.
PIC-Lab FlexPacker System
The columns are packed and unpacked by the user in minutes using the FlexPacker Dynamic Axial Compression System.
For SFC applications, the piston in the column is blocked after packing to allow the high pressure operation required for this technique. Cost-effective refilling of packing material results in a column bed that has excellent durability and reproducibility.
The FlexPacker system is also used to pack hemp, biomass and natural products into the extraction vessel. This results in a 2 to 3-fold increase in productivity.
